Custom Linear Reinforced Tubing
The Spiratex Company also offers you linear reinforced tubing and hose which can increase tensile strengths and help limit elongation within your thermoplastic tubing or hose. To achieve this, various fiber cords can be added to the tube or hose wall; they include but are not limited to the following:
- Kevlar (Aramid)
- Dacron (Polyester)
- Vectran (LCP)
- Nylon (Polyimide)
These fibered cords can be combined with different thermoplastics such as PVC, Polyurethane, Hytrel and many more. Our Engineering team can work with you or your design group to come up with the best combination of raw material to complete your tubing or hose application.
