ABS is an amorphous material and is naturally ivory in color. It is made with varying degrees of three components: acrylonitrile, for chemical resistance and heat stability; butadiene, for mechanical toughness and impact strength; and styrene for rigidity. ABS is used in many different applications because of its versatility. Some common applications include: •   Appliances, including refrigerator door liners and crisper drawers •   Interior and exterior automotive, including instrument panels and trim ABS is known for its good processability and is easy to fabricate. It is desired for its high gloss and can be colored to fit your needs.
